Fusion v2.6.11

Fusion v2.6.11 fixes exit code 174 failures on tasks that write very large files, temporary chunk files in output folders, and several other issues.

Feature updates and improvements​

Metrics​

  • Added the fusion_chunk_upload_drops_total counter for chunk uploads refused because the upload queue was full. See Fusion task metrics.

Bug fixes​

General​

  • Fixed tasks that write very large files failing with exit code 174.
  • Fixed temporary chunk files appearing in task output folders. They are now stored under the task work directory.
  • Fixed successful tasks printing Fusion errors such as Check available filesystem space at shutdown.
  • Fixed Nextflow job array tasks reporting no Fusion trace.
  • Fixed renames of directories with many new files failing with Connection timed out.

Google Cloud​

  • Fixed missed preemption snapshots on Spot VMs when the preemption notice arrived at startup or after a dropped connection.

Dependencies​

  • Updated the Go toolchain to 1.27.3.
  • Updated CI, build pipeline, and dependencies.

Upgrade notes​

  • Drop-in replacement for v2.6.10. No configuration changes required.
